Arrival I arrived in Norfolk, VA at 1:30 pm and scoped out a likely place to sit so that I could easily spot the person who would be coming to get me. Just like the year before, I had no idea who this person would be!!! I had my Trixie books with me so I spread a few out on a nearby table so my "ride" would be able to spot me. A few of the other passengers glanced at me and my library, and I even had one man ask me if I was a representative from a book publisher!!! (No--but I could be--HINT HINT Golden Books!!)A few hours later just as I was beginning to think I'd been forgotten (I know, I know, I should have known better!) Anne's mother, Barbara, showed up to take me to Williamsburg. It was great meeting her |  |
